Standard Handbook of Architectural Engineering

This handbook and its accompanying disk contain engineering data and algebraic equations for sizing virtually every functional component in any kind of building. Of course its primary objective is to enable the architect or engineer to determine whether a particu-lar functional component is the proper size, i.e., large enough to sup-port its load (whether its mass be solid, liquid, gas, or flow of elec-trons) yet not excessively large and economically wasteful.
